タイトル1：Decision Support Systems in UK Horticulture
内容1：
Horticulture in the United Kingdom is a highly sophisticated industry that
relies heavily on technological development to remain competitive.
Considerable Government and industry investment has been directed at
understanding the processes of plant development and the pests and diseases
that affect horticultural crops.   Packaging these complex models into
effective tools that are practical and easy to use has taken many years of
development and investigation.   The resulting MORPH system now provides a
flexible framework which will evolve with the changing and developing
expectations of growers.

タイトル2：HORIS - Horticultural Information System
内容2：
The technical and legislative information required by horticultural growers
in the UK is increasing at an alarming rate.   Information Technology has a
valuable role to play in bringing all this knowledge together and enabling
growers to focus on exactly the information they require.   However, the
volume of information can be overwhelming if an effective structure is not
provided.
 
The HORIS concept has been developed over the last few years in
collaboration with experts in human-computer interface design.   The
user-centred design provides a framework and structure for the creation of
effective electronic reference manuals for horticulture.
